How we met
We met at a small gallery opening in Fitzrovia in the autumn of 2019. Sarah was there for the artist. James was there because a friend had a spare ticket. They talked for four hours and missed the last Tube. Neither of them minded.

The question
Three years later, on a grey Tuesday morning in the kitchen, James made coffee and asked. No grand gestures, just the two of them, the radiator clicking, and a question that changed everything.
